Byron Bay

Byron Bay holds a special place in our hearts and is one of our favourite holiday destinations.  We chose Byron for our wedding because we would like to share the relaxed feeling we get from this place with our nearest and dearest.

Wedding Bus

Due to the nature and location of the venue, there is no parking available on site. A vintage London double decker bus will pick guests up from two central Byron locations; 1. Byron Bay Surf Club - Bay St and 2. Shirley St bus shelter - opposite Breakfree Resort x Milton St (see map).  Guests will be transported back on departure from the venue at 10:30pm.

 

The bus will be leaving from Byron Bay Surf Club at 2pm SHARP and from Shirley St bus shelter at 2.05pm SHARP.  

 

If you are planning to park in Byron Bay, we suggest finding an on street parking space near the Shirley St bus shelter as this stop is out of the town center and is adjacent to free parking areas.  Parking around the Surf Club requires a ticket (ticketed parking in pink on map).  If you are staying in town, both pickup locations should be within walking distance of your accommodation. If you would prefer to book your own taxi to/from the venue please call (02)6685 5008 or 131008 to book.

Airports and Transfers

This small coastal town is located in Northern NSW approximately 50 minutes south of Coolangatta Airport on the Gold Coast, and 35 minutes north of Ballina Airport.  Many companies offer shuttle transfers directly to Byron from either airport. Please let us know via your RSVP if you would like help in choosing and booking an airport transfer.

Accommodation

There are plenty of accommodation options within Byron Bay and its surrounds, from caravan parks to luxury beach houses.  We would like this time to be a mini getaway for our guests so if you are looking for accommodation recommendations please let us know via your RSVP and we can help to find you the perfect place!

Babysitting

We will not be having any little ones at our wedding as we wanted to include as many of our close family and friends in our special day as possible (and also give parents a well deserved day off!) however if you are planning to bring the kids on your mini break and need help locating a reputable babysitter please let us help you organise it.
